About FZ-X

The All New Yamaha FZ-X comes to India as a crossover motorcycle that is inspired by Neo-Retro design thinking. The FZ-X comes with an air-cooled 4-stroke 149cc SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected “BLUE CORE” engine that is in a league of its own.

The Bosch single-channel ABS and Front disc-brake with 2-pot Caliper ensure pinpoint breaking with superior stability.

Two-level Seat with tuck and roll

The seat on the FZ-X uses a tuck and roll design that crests and valleys creating a slip-resistant feel that is both comfortable and steady

Block pattern Tyre

In addition to adding to its formidable street presence, these tires boost the handling and enables good riding comfort across highways, busy city streets and rough and wet roads.

Telescopic suspension with front fork boot

The front fork is fitted with fork boot that provide protection against inner tube scratches or dents while adding a look of old-school authenticity.

LCD Meter

The sleek and stylish LCD instrument screen is a mix of both, traditional and modern design. The tachometer display in it has an analogue look that shows the revs in a circular pattern. This display also shows smartphone notifications accurately and attractively.

Maintenance recommendation - This app consolidates and analyses the bike data and sends recommendations to the owner. For example it keeps tabs on battery status and indicates either with a “Good” or “Check” notification.

Last parking position - The last Parking feature of the app gives you information about where you last parked your bike.

Malfunction - Should the machine suffer a breakdown or malfunction, the app indicates so on the smartphone. It can also be verified on the phone as part of the bike’s records.

Revs Dashboard - The smartphone screen can also function as the Revs Dashboard, that displays data that is not available on the bike’s instrument cluster, such as Engine RPM, Degree of throttle opening, Rate of Acceleration, Eco-friendly riding indicator and Real-time Fuel Consumption.

Ranking - This App connects with other Yamaha Riders App and maintains a ranking of the riders in terms of distance travelled and how eco-friendly their riding has been..
