Caution! Beware of Fake Facebook Account Pretending to be Yamaha Motor Executive
We have confirmed the incident of a scam overseas perpetrated by a fake Facebook account pretending to be a Yamaha Motor executive. We are currently requesting termination of the fake account.
We have also confirmed that the fake account used a photo of the executive, the Yamaha brand name and logo, etc., without permission and sent friend/follow requests and messages to other accounts, urging conduct that could potentially cause self-detriment to our customers.
Please do not comment, follow, or accept any requests from the fake account, and block it as an added measure to prevent any further incidents.
